We are a black, woman-owned, minority-employing professional paint company in Knoxville, TN. We offer interior & exterior painting for both residential & commercial projects & proudly specialize in masonry painting & plaster.
At Knox Revival Paint Co. we pride ourselves on hard work, integrity, and craftsmanship. Our company is owned and operated in Old North Knoxville and many of our painters are second or third generation tradespersons.

We are licensed, bonded, and carry both general liability and workers comp. In addition, we are an EPA licensed Lead Paint RRP Renovator. Our employees are legal to work in the U.S., paid respectable wages, and dedicated to making Knox Revival Paint Co. a career. We feel that this translates to lasting work by a lasting company, serving as one more set of hands to improve and protect the investment in Knoxville's finest homes and business, old and new, or a little of both.

Our History
How we got started speaks to our passion & trajectory today.
KRPC was founded in 2007 with a dream & a paint brush.
When Russ Walker started this company in 2007, little did he know the empire it would become. Knox Revival Paint Co. began by painting historic homes in the neighborhoods of Old North Knoxville. The passion for bringing new life to historic homes sprung from Russ & his wife Ashley’s own 1910 corner grocery store-turned-home in Happy Holler.
As the area developed and renovations became more involved, Knox Revival Paint Co. took the step from remodels into new residential and commercial. However, we continue to focus on historic homes and the surrounding commercial development of what we consider “our” turf.
In 2014 Knox Revival Paint Co. stepped into the new residential world for high-end custom homes. We found our expertise in older homes helpful for the eye required in distressed finishes, farmhouse styles, and lime wash. Since 2014 we have contracted for homebuilders working at Blackberry Farm, as well as Blackberry Farm themselves for the ongoing maintenance on existing properties. Knox Revival Paint Co. is now a sought after painting contractor by these builders and others across East Tennessee for the most challenging projects.
Over the past 5 years, Russ began to step back from the day-to-day operations of KRPC to be able to be home more with his three boys and Sadie began to manage things for the company. In 2020, they both decided that what was best for the company was for Sadie to take ownership. Russ is still very much in the bones and you can catch him on any given day fishing with one of the guys.
